Laesoe Car Ferry
Laesoe Ferry Company is publicly owned and operates two ferries between Laesoe Island in the Kattegat and Frederikshavn in the North of Jutland.
During the planning of the car ferry "Margrete Laesoe" and submitted to a tight budget, Brahe design was assigned to assist with the design of the exterior as well as the interior of the ferry.
Additionally we were asked to supervise during the building of the vessel at the Nordsoevaerftet in Ringkoebing (now Westas)
The ferry has room for 589 passengers and 76 cars.
Some years priviously to he newbuilding, Brahe design created the owner's logo for the company.
The SeaBat T50-R and T20-R are the latest additions to the world-leading SeaBat T-series platform. The extremely compact and flexible rack-mounted sonar system with a built-in INS allows for fast mobilization and minimal interfacing. They provide uncompromising survey data in a highly compact package designed for small vessel use.
BRAHE DESIGN has been an integrated part of the development team at Teledyne RESON's serving swift designproposals for the new RSPs leaving a design which is coherent with the SeaBat T series platform.
